The cover of mental health Q&A e-textbook for women, children and medical workers complied by the Legal Department of the All-China Women's Federation amid COVID-19 prevention and control [Women of China] |
A rising number of people from across the country have been seeking psychological support from the "12388" hotline, a special hotline for the protection of women's rights and interests, and other mental health service hotlines operated by women's federations at all levels since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei Province, in late January.
The Legal Department of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) recently organized a group of mental health experts from the Tianjin Women's Federation to categorize COVID-19-induced hot questions from the public and compile them into an e-textbook in a bid to help people, especially medical workers and their families, better cope with the issues in their daily lives.
The e-textbook covers six aspects, including frontline medical workers and their families, anxiety about health, low mood caused by COVID-19, pressure related to one's work, family relationships and parent-child education.
